Suddenly the author jumped up and said, “I need a standing desk!” They rushed around the room looking for bits and bobs that could stack on their door desk to raise the monitor and keyboard to a standing height. Eventually, some old server boxes sufficed.
Others got into the fun! One person assembled a stack of old bricks with a square piece of plywood on top. Soon the whole office was standing, and grooving to the code.
But now… everyone is sad. Everyone works from home. There is nobody to stand with as you code at your home standing desk.
