Conferences you can join

None open right now. Start one and it appears here for everyone else.

Who is here

Nobody else yet. Open a second tab as someone else — ?as=botecho&fake=1 — and it will appear here.

Debugging and test options
Two people on one laptop
Open two tabs with ?as=echobot and ?as=botecho. Each tab becomes its own person.
No camera? Fine.
Add ?fake=1 for synthetic camera and microphone tracks — real media tracks, just drawn instead of filmed.
Reject a call
The caller finds out immediately instead of waiting out the 30-second timeout.
Watch the path
The room lists whether the connection went direct or RELAYED, with its round-trip time.

A test conference is a real room with synthetic participants in it — each an echo-bot with its own identity and its own peer connection, publishing media that is drawn rather than filmed. It exercises everything a call to a person does, which is what makes it worth having when there is nobody to call.
